Couple’s march-in animated backdrop at JW Marriott, Singapore.
Set against the JW Marriott Singapore’s iconic crystal ceiling and immersive dome screen, the visual direction was designed to deliver a sense of awe from the moment guests enter.
The theme centres on a dreamlike, romantic universe. Inspired by the idea of star-crossed lovers, the narrative follows two souls scattered across the cosmos, gradually drawn together by fate. Their journey unfolds across space and time, culminating in a singular moment where their paths align. This climax is synchronised with the couple’s entrance into the ballroom. Visuals and music are precisely timed to their steps, transforming their walk-in into a cinematic reveal as they are introduced as a married couple.

W.E to symbolise the couple’s name initials |
The logo draws from the couple’s initials, shaped through the lens of duality.
Referencing the balance of yin and yang, the sun and moon act as symbolic anchors, representing a love that endures across time and space. Each half retains its own identity, yet comes together to form a complete and harmonious whole.
This visual language then explores the use of fine linework, constellation patterns, and cosmic textures. These elements are woven into a cohesive, animated backdrop that enhances the ballroom’s atmosphere, transforming the space into a surreal and timeless setting for the celebration.
I designed a suite of multimedia backdrops that were animated and that can loop endlessly as a wedding backdrop.
